S.J. Makielski

S. J. Makielski, Jr., retired from the department in 1995 but still is on call to offer advice and assistance in matters of curriculum and planning. He was with the department from 1971 to his retirement and specialized in the areas of urban government, political leadership, and American political institutions. He received his Ph.D. from Columbia University in 1965.
