2012-13 Student Awards in Religious Studies

The Department of Religious Studies made awards to four top studens at the Spring 2013 Awards Convocation. The Rev. Karl Rahner, S.J., Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Student in Religious Studies was awarded to Alexander N. Hall, from Kirkwood, MO. The Rev. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, S.J., Award for Best Undergraduate Essay in Religious Studies was awarded to Jessica V. Hidalgo, from Harahan, LA, for the essay entitled, “Haumann’s Inclusion into the Modern Ensemble with Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita.” Alexander Hall also won a Theta Alpha Kappa Undergraduate Achievement Award for $50, as did Haley H. Sledge from Mobile, AL.
